Portable NI-cDAQ / NI-cRIO Based System for Static and/or Dynamic Signal Measurements
The signal acquisition and processing system is housed in a robust injection-molded case designed to protect the measurement equipment and accommodate power accessories and connectors for transducer connections.
The polypropylene case features a convenient handle, double locking closures, and can be equipped with additional fans for cooling active measurement systems (NI-cDAQ embedded or NI-cRIO).
The case is also equipped with a power module with a backup battery (up to 2.5 Ah), with an input voltage range of 10 to 20 Vdc. This module includes protection circuits against polarity reversal and overvoltages, specifically designed for automotive applications. The power source (external or battery) switches automatically without operator intervention.
The portable carrier is completed with a user-configurable aluminum plate, where connectors for transducer connections (both analog and digital inputs/outputs) are placed, matching the characteristics of the installed measurement system. Ethernet and USB connectors, along with a power switch, are also present for easy connectivity.
